Energy Efficient High Performance Computing Working Group Join Our Group

The Energy Efficient High Performance Computing Working Group is open to all interested parties.  Please contact us if you would like to join the Working Group or any of the Sub-groups.

There are ~600 members from 20 different countries. The membership composition is mostly from US DOE and other governmental agencies, but also includes participants from industry, academe and international organizations.

A survey of the membership was conducted in early 2013 to solicit feedback on the activities of the EE HPC WG. The response rate was 27% of the membership representing government, industry and academe. The results showed a high value for most existing activities as well as a strong interest in new activities. Nine out of 14 existing activities were valued above 8 on a scale of 1-10 (10 highest). The strongest interest in new activities was to create a team focused on software for energy efficiency. (See below survey results.)
